Position Overview:
We Are Seeking A Highly Skilled And Experienced Senior Loss Assessor To Join Our Claims Management Department. The Senior Loss Assessor Will Play A Key Role In Assessing And Evaluating Complex Insurance Claims, Providing Expert Guidance To Claims Handlers, And Ensuring The Fair And Efficient Resolution Of Disputes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Thorough Investigations To Assess The Validity And Extent Of Insurance Claims, Including Property Damage, Liability, And Loss Of Income.
  • Provide Expert Guidance And Support To Claims Handlers Throughout The Claims Management Process, Ensuring Adherence To Company Policies And Regulatory Requirements.
  • Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders, Including Policyholders, Legal Advisors, And External Experts, To Gather Relevant Information And Evidence.
  • Analyze Claim Data And Trends To Identify Areas For Process Improvements And Implement Proactive Risk Management Strategies.
  • Prepare Detailed Reports And Documentation To Support Claim Decisions, Ensuring Accuracy And Compliance With Company Standards.
  • Represent The Company In Dispute Resolution Proceedings, Including Negotiations And Settlement Discussions, As Necessary.
  • Stay Updated On Industry Developments, Emerging Trends, And Regulatory Changes Related To Loss Assessment And Claims Management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree In Insurance, Risk Management, Or A Related Field; Advanced Degree Or Professional Certification Preferred.
  • Minimum Of 4 Years Of Experience In Loss Assessment, Claims Management, Or A Similar Role Within The Insurance Industry.
  • Demonstrated Expertise In Assessing Complex Insurance Claims Across Various Lines Of Business, Including Property And Casualty, Liability, And Professional Indemnity.
  • Strong Analytical Skills With The Ability To Interpret Policy Terms, Evaluate Evidence, And Make Sound Claim Decisions.
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders At All Levels.
  • Proven Track Record Of Delivering Exceptional Customer Service And Resolving Disputes In A Fair And Efficient Manner.
  • Proficiency In Relevant Software Applications, Including Claims Management Systems And Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Sound Knowledge Of Insurance Regulations, Industry Standards, And Best Practices Related To Loss Assessment And Claims Handling.
